Chester

Well, Chester was far cuter than I imagined. I knew the architecture would be right up my street but I would honestly move there instantly given the chance!

It is a compact walled city full of great shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a canal and parks too. We had lunch at a pub on the canal called Telford’s Warehouse and I had the best falafel wrap ever. It was well catered for vegetarians and had vegan options too.

The cathedral was beautiful and we walked along the entirety of the city walls in about an hour. It so exceeded my expectations and I would love to stay there for a weekend and explore it some more and thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful and chilled city experience.

All photos taken on Canon 5D Mark III and the 17-40mm lens.
